Ramona and Beezus
It is worth the watch...really cute.
Not sure I would buy it...we got it from the library.
My daughters thought it was cute ages (6-17) and even the boys liked it.
Cute review here and I love Common Sense reviews also check out plugged in whenever you need a good review.

We also loved this movie!
Have you seen "Ruby Bridges"? Great film about desegregation and the power of prayer to overcome hatred. For 8 and up I would say just because of the emotional content and issues.
For littles, "Milo and Otis" is very cute. Tom and I enjoyed it too.
