My week with Tennis and Swimming:

I am the kinda mom who doesn't believe in signing your kids up for lots of activities...but when they are free and allow multiple groups of my kids to participate, than we are in!!! This is the time of year when we rake it in at our pool family fee!!! We get free tennis, swim team, and swim lessons!!! It does require some scheduling on my part...so as I prepare for this week of tennis lessons from 8-11:15 with swim team in the middle...I got seven kids in four different sessions!!!

Tennis lessons schedule:
5-6 years from 8-8:30 = M
7-8 years from 8:30-9 = D&R
SWIM TEAM 9-10 = D&R
9-11 years from 9-9:30 = J
12 and UP 9:45-10:15-= B&L
TENNIS TEAM 10:15 – 11:15 = J, B, L

Putting Being AMAZING on hold for awhile...

Sometimes we know the plans of God and sometimes we have to just take baby steps to get there!!!

I truly believe we are all called to be AMAZING...what I forgot is it probably won't happen till HEAVEN!!! I need to stop jumping steps (as I am known to do) and work on becoming good at my current tasks...Catholic, a wife, mother, homeschooler, homemaker, friend...

Sometimes being good is where we need to start...my current goal is to get better each day...so while I work on that...I will be on blog time out...Maybe one day I will go from good to great...doubtful!!! Then when we meet in Heaven we can all be amazing together!!!

...Also for those of us who try to hard to be like others...sometimes...our days need to be one's where we just survive!!! and that's OK!!!

some days you just have to survive...

This week I returned from an amaizing Mother's Day trip with 4 of my kids...left the other guys with dad and my sister!!!

When I got home late Monday night it was great to be home with everyone. My husband even had the house all clean...perfect...I am sure it had nothing to do with the 18 hours of TV they watched either!!!

Well it is Thursday and my 4 and 2 year old (the ones who were spoiled by their aunt) still are off kilter...

Tuesday the 2 year old woke up crying (why do they wake up cranky???) and the baby fussy was with post flying/traveling stress were both climbing on me!!! So I decided it was plan B day...bag the dishes, laundry, most school, and just cuddle and survive!!!

Later that night I had the opportunity to get to mass...in relief to be there...I looked down to my feet and realized I had on two different shoes...we back to survival!!!
