GOOD NEWS...BAD NEWS...

I am embarrassed to even give anymore health updates, but here goes. After my incision leaked Sunday night...I was actually feeling better. Monday I went 13 hours fever free! Then come bedtime my chills/hotflashes and fever returned. The good news is they stopped at 2AM in the morning, being the first night in a week they didn't last all night. Woke up Tues feeling good and still fever free! Went to OB at 1 pm for 2 week check up and was told all was well, she squeezed more drainage out of incision and said it looked good. Still no fever and permission to drive!

Left there to take baby to get weighed and check bowels (hadn't pooped in 5 days). Weight was the same for the week...(better than losing), especially after all I had gone through this week. So I will be fattening him up this week. Then the doctor put on gloves put Vaseline on his pinky and gave my baby a little help to loosen his stools. As soon as he pulled his finger out...presto, poop problem solved.

Off to home still feeling good. Then a half hour later my wicked hot flashes/chills came back with my fever. So off to bed feeling like I had all week. Now I have a persistent cough to boot...not sure if I got it from my body temp changing so much ,or picked up a germ at the ER???

It is night and my fever is lower, so good news is coming...I just know it!!!

THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME!!!

Vacation is nice...but, thank God we are home...I love my house...I love my big dining room table, I love my two dishwashers, I love my two refrigerators, I love my deep sink, etc...I am not known for liking to clean...but, I really appreciate my wonderful home!!!

To top off the end of our beach trip #8 started throwing up at 1:30 this morning and #5 got sick on the way home...that is it...we are not allowed to get sick anymore!!!

Reality TV has nothing on us...

OK...we have the flu!!! Somehow we missed getting sick this winter so it caught us off guard.

HUSBAND-done
11 month old-hopefully done
2 year old-too feisty to get sick...hopefully done
4 year old-thinks she is sick
6 year old-got sick this morning-hopefully done
8 year old-just got sick, says he feels fine...we shall see...
10 year old-ONLY ONE IN THE HOUSE WHO IS OK-is now in charge of the rest of us...is teasing his little brother!!! Watch out-your next!!!
12 year old-done yesterday-taking care of us!!!
13 year old-up all night...the only one to miss the toilet!!! (friend with 10 siblings slept over last night...I guess her mom will never speak to me again-sorry)
15 year old-up all night dodging the bathrooms due to overflow problems
17 year old-home for vacation-up all night-reaffirmed his vocation-still sick!!!
18 year old-up all night-hates getting sick!!! Kept her light on all night as if it was a bad dream and would go away...o well!!!
ME-up all night, trying to be sympathetic and still sleep and throw up...
