My baby is two...

My baby turns two today...we are all very excited to celebrate this special day with such a wonderful little person. Kolbe you bring us so much joy and happiness. You make us all smile. We thank God for you and pray that you grow close to Him and find His holy will in your life.

Baptized by Bishop Holley

This day goes with mixed feelings for me. I know it is hard for anyone to understand how difficult it is for me to have a two year old and not be pregnant or holding a baby. This is the longest I haven't been pregnant in 22 years. It is such a different and strange feeling. Pretty soon he will be out of diapers. My husband paraded around the room the other day with a case of diapers saying, "This is the last box of diapers I will ever buy!" I practically cried...I know, I am a sick and strange women!!!

THY WILL BE DONE!!! +JMJ+

Oh Sam, I love reading about your family and have been doing so for almost 3 years. My fourth has just turned 2 and so I followed you through Kolbe's pregnancy and birth. I can imagine the sweet moments your youngest gives you currently. I am sure he had a wonderful birthday, as I am sure EVERY day is full of life and laughter for him. My heart goes out to you and I will remember you in my prayers. I hope for many children too, and know I shall feel very sad indeed when I finally reach my last. I struggle with pregnancies, but those babies, and seeing the love between siblings is such joy on this earth. I hope the Lord sends you grandchildren soon to help cover the pain a little.

If he is anything like my A, he will be adamant about wearing diapers even when he is 3!! The boy refuses to be potty trained!

I just weaned our 5th. She is 3 (I know, she's not a little one anymore). I've been pregnant and nursing for almost 14 years so this is the longest I've gone without being pregnant too. It's a very strange feeling. Makes me wish we were younger and having more babies was feasible. Guess it makes me feel old. :-(

Thanks for your comment back - I'm not as young as you think! :-)
