Party Platters:

Getting ready for a big party tomorrow...open house for about 150 people...
my ninth child is receiving her FIRST HOLY COMMUNION,
my fourth child is graduating from High School,
my oldest with her Master's Degree...
So people will be coming and going from noon till 7pm...
gotta have lots of food that can be put out in shifts...
deli and fruit trays to start and grilling in the afternoon...
with tons of yummy stuff in between...

I don't feel 43:

How to have a perfect 43rd b-day:
go to 6:30am mass at the chapel on the hill...
get a pedi with your daughter,
go to the gym with your daughter (4 ml),
have a great friend take 4 of your little kids,
lunch with your hubby,
shopping for landscape products,
and have a great dinner with family and friends.

Fr.Joe wrote "Mark Lowry admitted years ago that he wrote the following line of his song as an attack against the Catholic teaching of the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION: "This child that you've delivered, will soon deliver you." Dessert treats:

These are great when you are having a party with alot of little kids around.

Sand cups:

Ingredients:
2 cups milk
1 (3.5 ounce) package instant vanilla
pudding mix
1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped
topping, thawed
1 (12 ounce) package vanilla wafers,
crushed
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, combine milk and pudding mix. Beat with a whisk until well blended. Let stand 5 minutes.
2. Add whipped topping and half of the crushed cookies and fold in.
3. Place 1 Tablespoon crushed cookies into each cup. Fill cups 3/4 full with pudding mixture. Top with remaining crushed cookies. Refrigerate 1 hour. Decorate before serving.
4. Suggested Decorations: small paper umbrellas, gummy worms, gummy sharks, candy stars, chopped peanuts.
