URGENT PRAYER REQUEST: Melanie Pritchard in Critical Condition

Melanie Pritchard, Catholic speaker, Pro-Life Educator, Chastity speaker, and a true woman of God is in critical condition after giving birth to her second child. During labor there were complications and Melanie was rushed into an emergency C-section. During the C-section Melanie’s heart stopped beating. The baby was born and is doing great. But Melanie’s condition is very serious. She has now had surgery on her heart and while she is stable on machines, is not recovering well. They are now transporting her to the Mayo Clinic and putting her on specialized equipment.

The Brown Scapular:
Years ago we were inducted to the brown scapular...well with all things lazy...we got out of the habit. WE are back on track...well at least some of us are. So we are in our scapulars with an added miraculous medal for God's blessings and grace for HIS WILL TO BE DONE IN OUR LIVES!!!

Prayer for an unborn baby and family:
Dear Faithful Prayer Warriors,
An update on an unborn and very sick baby Dominic: He is 34 weeks along now and his mother is in labor. They think he weighs about 3 pounds and do not expect that he will be able to live when he is born.
Please say a prayer or offer a sacrifice for this heroic family as they struggle with "hello and good-bye" in the same day. Pray for the grace of baptism after birth for him and fortitude for his mom, dad, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

Meditation: THY WILL BE DONE!!!
From: THE GIFT OF FAITH by Father Tadeusz Dajczer (page 50 chapter two)
Maturity in faith means the willingness to give up to the Lord everything that He gives us, entrusting ourselves totally to Him.
We should not attach ourselves; not even to spiritual gifts, and not even to Holy Communion. God's will is the only one reality which one may attach oneself to, with out claiming it for oneself. Everything besides God's will is a gift and a means to reach the aim, but it is not the aim. If we claim the gift for ourselves, God will either destroy it or-through giving us the experience of suffering-show us that we have nothing to offer, that we are helpless and that it is God who gives us everything.

I want to be more like Christ:
When it comes down to it...all in all...in my total sinfulness, pride, and selfishness...all I want in life is to do The Will of God!!! I want to be Christ's hands and feet, I want to have His heart and desires.
So with a little smile and a laugh I share this funny little email my cousin sent me:
An eye witness account from New York
City, on a cold day in December,
some years ago: A little boy,
about 10-years-old, was standing before a shoe store on the
roadway, barefooted, peering through the window, and shivering
with cold.
A lady approached the young boy and said,
'My, but you're in such deep thought staring in that window!'
'I was asking God to give me a pair of
shoes,’ was the boy's reply.
The lady took him by the hand, went into the store,
and asked the clerk to get half a dozen pairs of socks
for the boy. She then asked if he could give her a basin of water
and a towel. He quickly brought them to her.
She took the little fellow to the back part of the store and,
removing her gloves, knelt down, washed
his little feet, and dried them with the towel.
By this time, the clerk had returned with
the socks. Placing a pair upon the boy's feet,
she purchased him a pair of shoes.
She tied up the remaining pairs of socks and gave them to him..
She patted him on the head and said, 'No doubt, you will be more
comfortable now.'
As she turned to go, the astonished kid
caught her by the hand, and looking up into her face, with tears in his
eyes, asked her.
'Are you God's wife?'

WAFFLES FOR A LARGE FAMILY:
Waffles = from allrecipe:
Ingredients
• 10 eggs
• 10 cups all-purpose flour
• 8-3/4 cups milk
• 2-1/2 cups vegetable oil
• 1/4 cup and 1 tablespoon white sugar
• 1/3 cup and 1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1-1/4 teaspoons salt
• 2-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Directions
1. Preheat waffle iron. Beat eggs in large bowl with hand beater until fluffy. Beat in flour, milk, vegetable oil, sugar, baking powder, salt and vanilla, just until smooth.
2. Spray preheated waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray. Pour mix onto hot waffle iron. Cook until golden brown. Serve hot
I JUST LOVE USING ALLRECIPE CALCULATOR I CAN CHANGE ANY OF THEIR RECIPES FOR OUR SIZE FAMILY...Do you know of another site that does that?
