Wanting a Baby...

THIS IS ME PREGNANT WITH MY 11 POUNDER!!! WOW, I WAS HUGE...

"THY WILL BE DONE"...everyone keeps reminding me..."You have 12 wonderful, healthy children"...everyone keeps reminding me..."Be grateful for what you have"...everyone keeps reminding me..."You are 43"...everyone keeps reminding me..."You might be a grandma soon"...everyone keeps reminding me...."You just lost all that weight"...everyone keeps reminding me..."Twelve is a great number"...everyone keeps reminding me..."Your other kids need you"...everyone keeps reminding me..."Appreciate what you have"...everyone keeps reminding me...and the comments go on and on...

Well, I agree with every single comment...but, deep down inside, I am aching for another baby.

I am trying to figure out if I just let the Will of God be...or if I should continue to beg God to bless us with another...Well, I do...with the understanding that I accept His will and know He has great plans for our family.

I give you thanks Dear Lord, for my husband and my family. Thank you for always doing what is best for us. Help me accept and embrace Your Holy Will in our lives and be the best wife and mother I can be.

THY WILL BE DONE!!! +JMJ+

  1. Thanks be to God for a Mother's Heart! You know, I once prayed for God to take the desire for another baby from me...I wanted with my heart so badly, and things just weren't panning out. He *did* take that desire--for about 30 seconds--and it was absolutely horrible!! There is so much depth to that particular desire, so many facets: the desire to expand one's family, of course, but also the desire for such intimacy with one's husband that the two literally become one flesh. And for Pete's sake, aren't we supposed to desire our husbands? ;)

  3. You are such an awesome lady. Thank You so much for voicing your desire for another child. I am 43 too and I have seven children. I am very grateful for all God has given me but I long for another baby also. My youngest will be two on Tuesday and I have trouble accepting the idea that she may be my last child. Maybe God has one(or two) more precious gift to give our family? I hope!

  4. Kathy, thanks for being a kindred spirit!!! I am 43 and my baby just turned 2 in Sept. The world needs to see that so many women desire children!!! I have heard from so many that they long for another child. I don't feel crazy anymore!!! +JMJ+
