Mourn with us:

It is with a heavy heart that I need to share that we found out today that the baby didn't have a heart beat.

We went to the specialist for our checkup to see how things were. I could tell by the sonographer's face that things weren't good. The doctor came to break the news and let us know that our baby went to God about 2 weeks ago. We are praying that the passing of this baby goes smoothly with the will of the Father in control.

What I am Grateful for:

1. God for entrusting another soul to our family
2. My husband for supporting me through our craziness
3. My children for being so excited about another baby and sad that it will be awhile till they meet
4. My family and friends for rejoicing and mourning with us
5. The doctors and technicians who never made me feel strange for wanting another baby, and actually being excited for us and this addition to our large family
6. So glad I got to Holy Hour this morning before my appointment...I needed the strength that only God could give me
7.The miracle of faith and friendship happening on my facebook page...it is the most pro life activity I have experienced in a long time~your words have brought me to smiles and tears!

THY WILL BE DONE!!! +JMJ+

  1. With my first miscarriage, the Lord met me with a Psalm on the wall at the physician's office that was very consoling to me. Perhaps it will comfort you some too-
    From Psalm 139:

    13 For you created my inmost being;
    you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
    14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
    your works are wonderful,
    I know that full well.
    15 My frame was not hidden from you
    when I was made in the secret place,
    when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
    16 Your eyes saw my unformed body;
    all the days ordained for me were written in your book
    before one of them came to be.
    17 How precious to me are your thoughts,[a] God!
    How vast is the sum of them!
    18 Were I to count them,
    they would outnumber the grains of sand—
    when I awake, I am still with you.
    Verse 16 is the one that ministered to me the most- all the days of each life, the boundaries of our temporal existence are all known to God before we are even conceived- He is LORD over all aspects of our lives, all aspects of our little one's lives.
    Now your baby is with your mother- waiting peacefully for the time when you will all be together again, where there is no sorrow, no suffering, no darkness and no more death---May He Who is Our Comfort in all circumstances sustain you in your grief and fill your hearts with hope! I love you, Sam!

  4. I am so sorry to hear it. You will be in my prayers. It helped me to meditate on Our Lady's Seven Sorrows when we miscarried. There's comfort in uniting your sorrow to Our Mother's. God bless you and your family!
