PARTY PUNCH:

FRUIT JUICE PUNCH

2 quarts tropical fruit punch
1 quart ginger ale
1 quart pineapple sherbet

In a large serving bowl, pour mixture over block of ice.

16 to 20 servings.

PARTY PUNCH

4 quarts ginger ale or lemon lime soda
1 small can frozen lemonade
1 small bag of frozen strawberries
1 qt. Hawaiian punch (any flavor)
1 qt. raspberry sherbet

Mix all ingredients together in a punch bowl. Add frozen strawberries right before serving.

Original Sherbet Punch Recipe


1/2 gallon sherbet, any flavor
2 quarts (8 cups) ginger ale
Ice mold

# Chill all ingredients well before mixing.

Scoop sherbet into a large punch bowl. Stir to soften.

Slowly add ginger ale.

Float an ice mold, if desired.

Makes 32 servings.

Options:

* Add 3 to 4 cups of fruit juice, corresponding to the sherbet flavor, sweetening if necessary.

* Substitute 1 750-mil bottle of champagne and 3 cups pineapple juice for the ginger ale. Pineapple sherbet works well here.

* Float small dollops of sherbet atop the punch in the punch bowl.
